Welcome to the new Ballou Skies website!

Hello again. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! This time of year is always hectic for the BallouSkies team. We hold two of our annual events during the summer months. The first of these events, our two-mile walk, took place about a month ago on June 7th at North Park. As usual, all of our hard work paid off and the event was a huge success! We had about 50-60 show up and everyone had a great time. The weather was gorgeous and we could not have asked for a nicer day. I want to thank everyone involved that helped to make the event a complete success. As I always say, without all of the support we have received, none of what we have accomplished would have ever been possible.
The second event, however, is coming up fast and is being held on August 17th at the North Park Boathouse. Our second annual summertime event is a fun bike ride around North Park. The event has a 5-25 miles course range. However far you would like to go! We have had success at this event in the past and we hope this year is even better. Please consider joining us for a fun-filled time. Your good time, and of course your donations, will be making a huge impact on the lives of many people affected with Muscular Dystrophy. All of the details for this event can be found on the events page of the BallouSkies website. Take a look and see if you would like to help make the day a success. Also, keep in mind that even f you cannot attend one of our events, donations can be made directly to BallouSkies through our website.
The doctors at Ohio State University are still working hard on the study we are currently helping to fund. No problems have arisen and everything has fallen into place perfectly. We are hoping to have some results in 2015 and will be sure to share all that we have found after conducting this important study.
In other news, we have been working towards giving the website a major overhaul. Keep an eye out for these exciting changes! Until next time, enjoy the summer weather, be safe, and stay strong!
